If you're thinking about cancelling your rainy day photoshoot I'm going to encourage you to stop what your are doing right now. I know, I know it sounds miserable, right? You're worried about your outfits, your makeup, your hair, and your littles rolling in the mud before you can even get the family picture. All of those are valid considerations, but let's get playful for a moment. Think about it. These years with your family, right now, are moments your want to capture exactly as they are in this season of life. Can you imagine a better way to capture true connection, emotion, and your story than becoming like kids again and getting lost in the magic, wonder, and awe of a rainy day? If that didn't persuade you I'm going to leave you with Ryan + Caitlin's session. We made the best of our rainy afternoon. While the rain came pouring down, we started our session inside the AirBnB with snuggles and tickles. When the rain settled a bit we made our way down to the beach. We were able to capture some amazing storm clouds over the ocean and utilize the cutest umbrella. The umbrella added another layer of joy to our afternoon.
