San Diego Beach Sessions

I don't know about you, but San Diego (although yes, it is home to me) is my favorite destination when I think of Summer. The vast blue skies with puffy white clouds, soft sand dunes covered in succulents, and the salty air just create such a dreamy vibe. I think a hidden secret though, is that Spring is the real winner here. Up and down the coast of San Diego you will find that all the beaches are less crowded, the sky is a little bluer, and the towns are a little sleepier. It's definitely it's own type of magic.

This past weekend, I had the dreamiest spring maternity beach session at Coronado Island. When I tell you that it was one of my absolute favorite sessions, I mean it. The sky was a brilliant blue, the wind was lightly blowing, and the clouds made an extra grand appearance.

We made our way over the sand dunes and watched the clouds sleepily drift overhead. Everything that the sun kissed was golden. It was a perfect day to celebrate this sweet mama and the little girl she is growing.
